Thomas J. Kim, MD, is Board Certified by the American Board of Dermatology. Dr. Thomas Kim grew up in Glendale, California and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at the University of California at Los Angeles. After deciding to pursue a career in medicine, Dr. Kim received his medical degree at Chicago Medical School and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. Dr. Kim returned to UCLA for his dermatology residency and served as Chief Resident his final year.
As a Board Certified Dermatologist, Dr. Kim treats a wide variety of skin conditions. He routinely performs surgical removal for several skin conditions, including non-melanoma skin cancer using the Mohs technique. At Dermatology Associates of Westlake, Dr. Kim performs cosmetic procedures such as Botox and filler injections, laser surgery, and microneedling.
Additionally, he manages atypical moles, conducts skin exams, and addresses a variety of general dermatology issues. He has been with Dermatology Associates of Westlake since 2004 and enjoys the collegial nature of the practice. Dr. Kim lives in the Conejo Valley with his wife and two children and enjoys traveling, fishing, and rooting on his Bruins.
